Always check Breaking News first every day to find out what's new and what's happening! Welcome to the unofficial Walton Raiders football website. Our goal is to provide you with all of the information you need in order to keep up with the Raiders during the 2009 season. This includes not only all of the schedules (Varsity, JV, 9th, 8th, 7th and 6th) but also driving directions to opponent's venues (click on Schedule and then the Opponent's name). You can look up information about players, coaches and administrators. We provide recaps of all games including statistics (click on Schedule and then Recap) and we also provide season-to-date statistics (click on Statistics). You'll find a calendar of upcoming events and contact info that you'll need sooner or later. Enjoy! Walton High School, with an enrollment of approximately 2600 students, is located in Marietta, Georgia a northwest suburb of Atlanta. Academically, Walton ranks as one of the top high schools in Georgia. Athletically, it also excels, having won the Director's Cup, indicating statewide athletic supremacy, in its inaugural season 2000, again in 2002, again in 2007 and yet again in 2008. The Raiders were the Region 6-AAAAA champions in 2008, finishing with a record of 9 and 2. 2008 marked the 8th consecutive season Walton has qualified for the state playoffs. The Region Championship was the Raiders 4th title in the past 6 seasons. This year's squad will be attempting to make the playoffs for the ninth consecutive season and tenth of the last eleven.
